In a groundbreaking development, Citroen, the renowned French automotive giant, has etched its name in history by becoming India’s premier multinational car manufacturer to export locally manufactured electric vehicles (EVs) to global markets. The company's momentous achievement comes as it ceremonially flagged off the inaugural shipment of 500 units of the Made-in-India Citroen e-C3 to Indonesia from Kamarajar Port today, marking a significant stride forward in India's quest for sustainable mobility and international competitiveness.

Aligned with the strategic vision of the Indian government's "Make in India" initiative and Stellantis' Dare Forward Mission 2030, Citroen's groundbreaking export of the e-C3 underscores its unwavering commitment to championing clean, safe, and accessible mobility solutions on a global scale. The move epitomizes Citroen's steadfast mission to democratize electric mobility and drive the widespread adoption of sustainable transportation options across the globe, signalling a pivotal moment in the company's trajectory.
