The Hero Xpulse 200 4V has been launched at Rs 1.43 lakh for the base variant, and the Pro is priced at Rs 1.50 lakh. Hero Xpulse 200 4V gets an update that includes the addition of an “H” shaped LED headlamp, among other features.
It gets ride modes that alter the sensitivity of the ABS system, namely Road, Off-road and Rally. It is powered by a 199.6-cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed gearbox that pushes a good 19.1 bhp and 17.35 Nm of torque. The bike tips the scales at 158 kg and has a ground clearance of 220mm and a seat height of 825 mm.
Telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear do suspension duties. The company has also changed the rider’s triangle, and the footpegs are 35 mm lower and 8 mm more rear set. The USB port has also been set close to the cockpit now.
Braking is handled by a 276 mm disc up front and 220 mm at the rear on 21 and 18-inch tyres, respectively. It has a 13-litre tank and a fully digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
The base variant is offered in three colour options: Matte Nexus Blue, Techno Blue and Black Sports Red. The Pro variant has a fully adjustable front suspension of 250mm and a rear suspension of 220mm. It has a taller seat height of 850 mm, ground clearance of 270 mm and a handlebar riser, to name a few.
