Audi India has begun local production of its entry-level SUV offerings - Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback - at the SAVWIPL plant in Aurangabad, India.
The Q3 was launched last year and is now in its second generation. The styling of the Q3 is now more aggressive and the SUV is 4,485 mm long, 1,856 mm wide, and 1,575 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,689 mm. It runs on 19-inch alloy wheels and gets five colour options.
Under the hood is a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that has 190 bhp and 320 Nm of torque on tap. This engine comes coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Q3 can dash from 0-100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 222 kmph.
The Audi Q3 Premium is priced at Rs. 44.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Plus model will set you back by Rs. 50.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
