What happens if the traffic challan is not paid in Goa?

If you fail to pay your traffic challan within 60 days of issuance, in Goa, the traffic department will forward your challan to the district court. At the court's discretion a higher fine than the original amount may be levied, and you may face imprisonment for up to 3 months or both.

Failure to pay an e-challan, on time, in Madhya Pradesh can lead to further complications. If a defaulter doesn't clear the challan payment, a police constable may visit their registered address to collect the fine in person.
