Spotting an empty slot in a parking lot in crowded Indian cities is like discovering a long-lost treasure. The urgency to find one can stoke tensions, resulting in heated arguments and even fisticuffs. Those unfortunate continue their hunt, circling the spot for the right moment, wasting fuel, congesting traffic, and polluting the air.

Even as vehicle numbers multiply over the years, parking space in the country has remained constant or even shrunk due to growing population pressure. It comes as no surprise that Delhi only has 90,000 legal parking spots for over 75 lakh vehicles, Mumbai on the other hand only has 50,000 legal parking spots for over 20 lakh vehicles. Finding a legal and safe parking remains one of the biggest hassles for most car owners, across India. Usually parking spots are available near corporate parks, however they are mostly dimly lit with an unappealing atmosphere. Therefore, parking at such spots is not only unnerving but also to a certain extent unsafe.

The Super App solution:

We at Park+ identified these daily hassles for car owners and took something that had historically been painful & intimidating – finding a legal & safe parking spot and made it effortless. Today we host the largest inventory of discoverable parking spots India – 2,50,000 spots, across India. We work very closely with residential societies, corporate parks, and malls to ‘smartly’ manage their parking needs.

Our partnership with Arcesium reflects our commitment in making parking hassle free for their employees. With over 10,000+ employees Arcesium, faced an acute parking shortage throughout the day. Park+ through its smart management system and robust partnerships with local contractors, was able to unlock 20 legal & safe parking slots for Arcesium employees within 500 meters of their office.

A winning formula:

Not only did we solve the day-to-day parking problems of the employees, but also digitized the entire valet experience. Users were now able to get their cars parked by a professionally trained Park+ valet partner. Additionally, our digital first in-app services like ‘get my car’, allowed users to call their car back to the lobby with a single click.

Apart from ensuring parking slots via RFID tags for its employees, Arcesium also got fixed rates throughout the contract’s tenure and complete GST invoicing, which provided Arcesium with a pricing advantage. Again, by appointing a dedicated key account manager to take care of legal and taxation compliances with parking contractors, we freed the client from the hassle of regular interaction with vendors.
