This SUV-coupe stands out in its segment with its distinctive design and will be available with two 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine options and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT), making the Curvv the first mass-market SUV in India to offer a diesel-DCT combination. Key features include a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 9-speaker sound system, and advanced safety features like a 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS.

Tata Motors is expected to launch the Nexon CNG, which will be the first SUV in India to offer a factory-fitted CNG kit with a turbocharged petrol engine. Powered by a 120 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, the Nexon CNG is also expected to come with a manual and possibly an automatic gearbox. The Nexon CNG will feature Tata’s innovative twin-cylinder technology, offering 230 litres of usable boot space. Expect a price premium of about Rs 1 lakh over the standard Nexon variants.

Hyundai is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of the Alcazar on September 9. Engine options remain unchanged, with a choice between a 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. Kia is set to introduce its second electric vehicle in India, the EV9, on October 3, 2024. Mercedes-Benz will be launching its first all-electric Maybach model in India, the EQS 680 SUV. This ultra-luxurious SUV is adorned with chrome accents and offers top-of-the-line features, including a 17.7-inch OLED touchscreen infotainment system, dual 12.3-inch displays for the driver and passenger, heated and ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
