Toyota has released details of the Urban Cruiser Ebella’s variants, outlining how features, battery options, and safety equipment are distributed across the E1, E2 and E3 trims. The electric SUV will be offered in three configurations, each with a structured progression in equipment, battery capacity, and technology.
Unveiled earlier this year, the Urban Cruiser Ebella represents Toyota’s entry into the mass-market electric SUV space and is expected to play a key role in the brand’s EV strategy going forward.
Toyota is ensuring the Ebella appeals to both city dwellers and long-distance travellers by offering two Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery packs.
49kWh Pack (E1 Trim): Producing 142 bhp and 189 Nm of torque, this setup offers an ARAI-certified range of 440 km. It is the perfect balance for urban daily driving.
61kWh Pack (E2 & E3 Trims): This larger unit bumps power to 174 PS and extends the range to a class-leading 543 km, ideal for those frequent highway runs.
Unlike many base models, the E1 is surprisingly premium. Toyota has prioritised safety and essential tech right from the start.
Safety Excellence: Seven airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) come as standard.
