By installing six airbags as standard on all the trim of the Urban Cruiser Taisor, it has already increased safety by a great approximation, which includes: the E, S, S+, G, and V trims.
This complete package consists of two front airbags, side airbags and curtain airbags that give total protection to the occupants. The selection puts the Taisor in line with the rising safety standards in the compact SUV market, therefore making it a more attractive option to anyone interested in safety.
Along with the safety improvement, Toyota has added a new colour to the exterior of the car, Bluish Black. This tone will give the Taisor model a bolder, top-end touch to its already fashionable design and present the customer with greater customization options.
The price is slightly revised as well in the new update. The majority of them have increased in price by 12,000 rupees, whereas the S Plus trim costs 8000 rupees more.
Now the base price of the Taisor begins at 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Toyota still offers the model on a three-year/1,00,000km warranty, which is extended to up to five years/2,20,000 km standard.
The Urban Cruiser Taisor is available with two petrol engines:
1.2-litre K-Series petrol: 89bhp, 113Nm
1.0-litre turbo-petrol: 99bhp, 147.6Nm
Transmission choices include a five-speed manual, five-speed AMT, and a six-speed automatic.
The notable features in it are that it has LED headlamps with twin DRLs, a dual-tone cabin, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, cruise control, wireless charging, and Toyota i-Connect technology.
The new additions of safety, colour and a slight price increase make the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor a more competitive package in the compact SUV realm, in addition to its previous competitive offerings. It not only makes it more attractive but also enables it to meet the current expectations of a buyer in terms of safety and style.
