The New Maruti Dzire Gets its Price Hike for the First Time

The new-generation Dzire was launched in India in November last year, starting from Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The sub-four-metre sedan is now being given its first price hike of up to Rs. 10,000, depending on the variant.

With a price rise of Rs. 10,000, the VXi AMT and ZXi AMT variants see the most considerable price hike on the Dzire. Following this are the ZXi+ AMT, ZXi CNG MT, VXi CNG MT, and VXi MT, with all receiving a uniform price rise of Rs. 5,000; lastly, the LXi MT.

Interestingly, the new Maruti Dzire's ZXi+ MT variant remains unaffected in its pricing. The price for the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze competitors now ranges from Rs. 6.84 lakh to 10.19 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). As far as insights are concerned, the fourth-gen Dzire gave top honors on the BNCAP crash test.
