The Black Edition Of Porsche Taycan 4S Is Now In India!
Recently, Porsche officially launched the black edition of its Taycan 4S in India. It starts at a price of ₹2.07 crore (ex-showroom), which is Rs 11 lakh higher than the standard 4S model. This sedan is the special edition of the brand’s all-electric sports segment, with new design updates and premium features, making it a distinct offer in Porsche’s EV lineup.
The black edition of the Porsche Taycan 4S comes with some minor changes to the interior and exterior as compared to the standard 4S model. Some key changes are:-
The exterior parts of the vehicle are all in a high-gloss black theme with a smoky finish on the headlamps and optional puddle lamps to project the Porsche logo.

The buyers get a variety of colour options in the Black Edition of the Porsche Taycan 4S to choose from, including colours like Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Ice Grey Metallic, and some premium shades are available at an additional cost ranging from Rs. 5.11 lakh to Rs. 32.18 lakh.
This new launch is an electric vehicle with a four-door sports car, dual-motor setup. This setup makes it offer a combined setup of 590bhp and 710 Nm of torque from the 105 kWh (gross) battery pack as used in the regular version.
This battery pack has a zero to 100 kmph in 3.7 seconds and supports rapid charging via a 320 kW DC fast charger. The electric powertrain continues to offer the thrilling performance expected from a Porsche, paired with fast-charging capability and long-range efficiency.
The launch of the Taycan 4S Black Edition shows that Porsche continues to push in the Indian electric luxury vehicle market. While the Taycan already exists as a well-known product, this new edition adds exclusivity for buyers who prefer a unique, darker aesthetic paired with Porsche’s high-performance it is known for.
