Tata Sierra ROQ Edition: A Sturdy New Appearance Becomes Real
  • Rugged, off-road style and functionality are added by Tata's new Sierra ROQ Edition accessory package.

  • Important information about the Sierra's price, accessories, and sale date

For the recently redesigned Sierra SUV, Tata Motors has released the Sierra ROQ Edition, a carefully chosen accessory package targeted at those seeking a more rugged, adventurous appearance. These are optional modular attachments that greatly increase the Sierra's toughness in terms of both style and practicality, unlike a separate trim.

Content of the ROQ Accessory Packs

Tata is selling ROQ Edition in two different packs: a more complete bundle costs approximately ₹1 lakh, while the first pack costs roughly ₹50,000.

  • Bold exterior improvements, such as a black front plaque with massive "SIERRA" badging, faux air vents on the bonnet, chunkier wheel-arch bracing, and vertical pattern graphics on the fenders, are included in the less expensive package. There are also sturdy black side steps to make getting in and out easier.

  • The "SIERRA" badge is housed in a black appliqué that runs the length of the tailgate at the back, and a tow hitch is added for practicality.

  • Tata includes two foldable seats and cup holders inside the boot, which resemble the side-facing back bench found in high-end SUVs.

A metallic roof rack and a collapsible ladder for mounting equipment on the roof are included in the ₹1 lakh bundle for those who wish to go further. These components have a robust, textured finish to resist wear and oxidation.

In the ROQ line, Tata also sells lifestyle items like neck cushions, high-end mugs, and even camping supplies, including chairs, a portable tent, and a coffee machine.

Sierra: The Overall View

In a very contemporary form, the Sierra itself is returning. Its sleek gloss-black roof and pillars, 19-inch dual-tone alloys, and linked LED lighting are examples of how its design combines modern elements with vintage boxy characteristics.

The "Life Space" cabin has a triple screen arrangement (driver, infotainment, and passenger) under a single pane of glass, making it feel like a tech-filled living room on wheels.

Tata offers a normally aspirated gasoline, a 1.5-litre diesel, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged gasoline engine under the hood. Additionally, the Sierra has a head-up display, a SonicShaft soundbar, a 12-speaker JBL Black audio system with Dolby Atmos, and Level-2 ADAS for safety.

Pricing and Availability

The base Sierra starts at ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata has not yet confirmed final pricing for all versions; however, the ROQ Edition accessory cost has been estimated at ₹50,000 for the cosmetic pack and ₹1 lakh for the complete bundle.

The Sierra will start accepting reservations on December 16, 2025, and deliveries are scheduled to begin on January 15, 2026.
