Tata Motors has expanded its Nexon offering in the market by launching a new lineup of five versions. These new models are AMT variants that are now available in the Nexon range's current gasoline and diesel options. This calculated action comes after a drop in Nexon sales was noted in the previous month.
The new Nexon portfolio offers a wide variety of options to meet the needs and tastes of various customers. The Nexon petrol Pure variation costs Rs 10.50 lakh, the Nexon petrol Pure S model costs Rs 11 lakh, and the entry-level Nexon petrol Smart+ costs Rs 10 lakh.
In order to provide options for a range of budgets, the diesel segment launched the Nexon diesel Pure, priced at Rs 11.80 lakh, and the Nexon diesel Pure S edition, priced at Rs 12.30 lakh.
Certain variants of the most recent Nexon models come equipped with the advanced automatic manual transmission (AMT) system. AMT is now available for the Nexon petrol Smart+, Pure, and Pure S variants. This feature was previously available only on the Creative variant. The AMT transmission has also been added to the Nexon Pure and Pure S models in the diesel lineup. These updated versions also keep the Nexon lineup's current mechanical components.
The diesel versions of the Nexon continue to use the dependable 1.5-liter engine, while the petrol versions are powered by a powerful 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine. The Nexon series offers manual, AMT, and DCT transmission options, allowing consumers to choose the gearbox that best suits their driving style and preferences.
In summary, the strategic introduction of these new Nexon variants by Tata Motors, particularly with the AMT transmission, broadens the brand's appeal and strengthens the Nexon range's overall position in the competitive SUV market. Tata wants to resurrect its market position and stay at the forefront of innovation and customer-centric products by providing a wide range of options and state-of-the-art features.
