Tata Curvv ICE: Dual-Clutch Petrol and Diesel Variants Now Available with Competitive Pricing

Tata Motors has expanded its portfolio with the launch of the highly anticipated internal combustion engine (ICE)-powered Curvv, marking a new chapter in the brand’s SUV offerings. With a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Tata Curvv has already made waves in the market. However, the recent unveiling of prices for its dual-clutch automatic (DCA) variants promises to make the Curvv an even more attractive option for Indian SUV buyers.

Tata Curvv DCA: Pricing Breakdown

The Tata Curvv ICE lineup offers a wide array of variants, catering to a range of preferences and budgets. There are eight variants in total: Smart, Pure+, Pure+ S, Creative, Creative S, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A. With this diversity, Tata aims to provide an SUV that meets the needs of both city commuters and long-distance travelers.

For the petrol-powered models, prices for the Revotron 1.2-litre turbocharged engine variants start at Rs 12.50 lakh. The more powerful Hyperion 1.2-litre turbocharged engine variants begin at Rs 16.50 lakh. Diesel enthusiasts can opt for the Kryojet 1.5-litre diesel engine variants, with prices ranging from Rs 14.00 lakh to Rs 19.00 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

Tata Curvv Powertrain Options

The Tata Curvv ICE comes with three distinct engine options, catering to a variety of driving needs. The standard Revotron 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, offering a balanced performance for everyday use. This engine is available with either a manual or dual-clutch automatic gearbox, allowing drivers to choose their preferred driving experience.

On the diesel front, the Kryojet 1.5-litre engine generates 115 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. This engine is also paired with the same gearbox options, providing versatility and fuel efficiency for long-distance travel.

The latest addition to Tata’s engine lineup is the 1.2-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol direct injection engine. With 123 bhp and 225 Nm of peak torque, the Hyperion promises a more spirited drive. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, offering both power and refinement for performance enthusiasts.

Colours and Features

The Tata Curvv DCA variants are available in six vibrant colour options: Gold Essence, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Pure Grey, and Opera Blue. The coupe SUV design, coupled with these striking colour choices, enhances the Curvv’s road presence and style.

Tata Motors has clearly positioned the Curvv as a strong contender in the Indian SUV market with its competitive pricing, multiple powertrain options, and a wide range of variants.
