Skoda Kushaq Facelift Unveiled with 8-Speed AT and New Technology
Outlines the main new elements of the Skoda Kushaq facelift and the evolution of its design.
Includes tech improvements, interior updates, including first-in-segment innovation, and powertrain modifications.
The updated Skoda Kushaq has a dramatic redesign that offers the small SUV a more contemporary and upscale appearance. The rear has connected LED taillights with sequential indicators and lighted brand writing, while the front has a redesigned grille with segmented LED inserts and new LED headlamps for a sharper face.
All trims come with alloy wheels as standard, and the higher models have sportier styles and new colour choices, including three new colours, for a total of eight.
The Kushaq makeover greatly improves the inside of the cabin by combining comfort and technology. Some grades come with a panoramic sunroof, and even the entry-level vehicle comes with an electronic sunroof.
In higher models, Skoda has included a digital cockpit with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 10.25-inch fully digital display.
Additionally, a Google-powered AI voice companion designed for Indian English accents is integrated into the system. The cabin's atmosphere is further enhanced with new seat upholstery and ambient lighting.
The segment-first back seat massaging option, which is only available on higher-end versions, is arguably the most talked-about feature in this class. The improved comfort package also includes six-way electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation.
The redesigned Kushaq still has the well-known 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter TSI turbo-petrol engines under the hood. The 1.0-liter vehicle now has an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission in place of the old six-speed automatic, which promises smoother shifts.
The 1.5-liter engine still has a seven-speed DSG gearbox, and certain versions now have four-wheel disc brakes.
The overall size and boot space are essentially unaltered, providing useful functionality for daily requirements. With six airbags as standard and a variety of active and passive safety features across trim levels, the SUV also maintains a robust safety suite.
Pre-bookings for the updated Kushaq are now available in the Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo trim levels. For a more dynamic appeal, the top-of-the-line Monte Carlo version adds unique stylistic elements, including blacked-out exterior components and red highlights. The revised Kushaq is anticipated to have competitive pricing, placing it firmly in its market.
