Renault Boreal 7-Seater SUV to Make Global Debut Soon — India Launch in 2026
Renault is set to expand its SUV portfolio with the upcoming Renault Boreal, a brand-new 7-seater model derived from the third-generation Duster. This extended version of the Duster will make its global debut in the coming months, with an official launch in Latin America first, followed by introduction in over 70 international markets, including India in 2026.
In the Indian market, the Boreal will target some of the most popular names in the 7-seater segment, such as the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and MG Hector Plus.
Built on the same CMF-B platform as the Dacia Bigster, the Boreal promises a bold design, enhanced practicality, and contemporary features suited to modern family buyers.
The Boreal shares its core underpinnings with the Bigster, and that influence is clear in its projected size and styling. While official visuals are pending, digital renders suggest a strong road presence with:
