Range Rover SV Black Replaces Sensory Floor Technology

Land Rover has introduced its brand new luxury flagship, the Range Rover SV Black, before it makes its debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Such an eye-catching model belongs to the marquee members of the privileged Special Vehicle (SV) group and introduces some of the firsts to the ultra-premium SUV segment.

An All-Black Vivid Statement

The SV Black lives up to its name in every way. The black, imposing SUV is dressed in Narvik Gloss Black with 23-inch alloy wheels, gloss black grille mesh, and is finished with satin black exterior accents, offering an overall dark and extravagant impression.

It has a black ceramic SV roundel in place of a conventional badge, and this demarcates its unnoticeable but refined charm.

Sensory Floor: The First of a Kind

Internally, the SV Black boasts of Near-Aniline Ebony leather, black birch wood veneers and a gear selector in satin black ceramic, which have all been enhanced through Moonlight Chrome detailing that gives a sophisticated glimmer.

However, the real headline is the fact that Sensory Floor Technology has been introduced into the automotive market, which is the first in the industry.

This new technology implements transducers incorporated on the floor beneath the cabin to deliver synced haptic vibrations according to music or six wellness modes.

Combined with Signature surround sound system and Body-and-Soul-Seat (BASS), it makes the passengers feel completely immersed in sound and feeling in the cabin, reaching a new level of in-cabin luxury.

Potent Performance and Sustainable Tyres

The SV Black sits beneath a mighty 615bhp V8 engine that comes in normal or long-wheelbase versions with a four-seat or even five-seat option under the hood.

Continuing on the path of the future-forward ethos, with the start of the new lineup in 2025, Range Rover will also offer industry-first Pirelli P Zero tyres that have more than 70 per cent of their material consisting of sustainable material content across the range.

The exclusivity conveyed by the SV Black is not just limited to that, but also a statement of innovation, green, and luxury designed around a custom willingness of its realisation represented in one exquisite pack.
