A New Price Update in Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5 Variants

Recently, Mahindra announced a price reduction of ₹20,000 in some of its variants of the XUV 3XO AX5, newly launched in India. This is aimed at making it even more accessible for prospective buyers. The AX5’s Petrol Manual and Automatic versions now cost ₹20,000 less than before.

Mahindra has recently updated its XUV 3XO line-up with three new variants - REVX M, REVX M (O), and REVX A. This price reduction came shortly after that. It is said that the REVX A has been positioned between the AX5 and AX5L trims, which makes it offer more features than the AX5, without going beyond AX5L territory.

This price reduction might be done to create a clearer gap between the two variants.

  • Adjustable headrests and centre armrests on both the front and rear seats

Other than the looks, the features list is well-planned too. Some of its appealing features includes:

  • 6-speaker sound system

  • 6 airbags

  • 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels

Powertrain Options

The XUV 3XO continues to be offered with a choice of both petrol and diesel powertrains:

  • 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine (109bhp and 200Nm)

  • Powerful TGDi version (129bhp and 230Nm)

  • For diesel, a 1.5-litre engine (115bhp and 300Nm)

  • Six-speed manual, six-speed torque automatic converter and a six-speed AMT

Strategy And Aim Behind This Initiative

This move of cutting prices by Mahindra looks like a strategic move to maintain the momentum and attract more buyers for the SUV space of their line-up.

Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and Kia Sonet are the rivals the XUV 3XO has to compete with, whose pricing will affect the consumer decision-making.

Mahindra’s decision of prices cutting could help them boost sales for the XUV 3XO, especially among buyers looking for value-packed variants with strong performance and modern features.
