MG Motors has recently launched the elegant Hector Blackstorm Edition in showrooms to boost the brand's presence and sales performance. Priced competitively at Rs 21.25 lakh (ex-showroom) this edition, based on the Sharp Pro variant is the MG vehicle to undergo an all-black transformation following the successful releases of the Gloster and Astor models. As this SUV makes its way, to showrooms nationwide after its unveiling here are some highlights of the Hector Blackstorm Edition;
The MG Hector Blackstorm Edition has undergone a significant visual upgrade compared to its standard version. Featuring an all exterior with pops of vibrant red accents the vehicle ditches traditional chrome elements in favor of a more contemporary and sleek dark theme. Everything from the grille and logo to the skid plates has been given a blacked-out treatment elevating the SUV's distinctive look. The headlights now sport bezels while the connected tail lights have been enhanced with a smoked effect. To complete its appeal black 18-inch alloy wheels, with striking brake calipers perfectly complement the refined Starry Black color scheme.

The MG Hector Blackstorm Editions interior has been revamped with an all-color scheme and chic gunmetal accents. The dashboard and center console sport a sleek gunmetal grey finish, while the new luxurious all-black leather upholstery enhances the premium vibe. Adding to the cabin ambiance is front headrests embossed with the Blackstorm logo and a leather-wrapped steering wheel finished in a shade.
Loaded with an array of features the MG Hector Blackstorm Edition boasts a 14-inch touchscreen system, the largest, in its class along with a 7.0-inch digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, seat ventilation, and a powered driver's seat. The SUV also offers Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, a 360-degree camera, six airbags for safety, and auto turn indicators, from the facelift version to enhance its premium appeal.
Under the hood of the MG Hector Blackstorm Edition lies a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 142 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. Customers can also opt for a 2.0-liter diesel engine that churns out 170 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque.
The gasoline version comes with a transmission (CVT) whereas the diesel option is matched with a six-speed manual transmission providing a lively and immersive driving experience, on all types of roads.
