Maruti Suzuki has officially launched a special edition of the Swift, dubbed the Swift Blitz, just in time for the festive season. This limited-time offering aims to boost sales of the hatchback’s lower-spec variants, and it will be available exclusively through Maruti Arena dealers.
The Swift Blitz will be available in five variants:
LXI
VXI
VXI AMT
VXI(O)
VXI(O) AMT
In addition to the features already present in these variants, the Blitz edition introduces several aesthetic enhancements, including:
Rear underbody spoiler
Spoiler on the boot
Fog lamps
Illuminated door sills
Door visors
Side moulding
Maruti Suzuki is providing this accessory kit, valued at Rs 49,848, for free with the purchase of the Swift Blitz. As a result, the pricing for the Swift Blitz ranges from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The Swift Blitz retains the same powertrain as the regular Swift, featuring a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine. It delivers:
82 hp and 112 Nm of torque on petrol
70 hp and 112 Nm of torque on CNG
The petrol variant comes with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox, with a 5-speed AMT option available on all but the base variant.
