An update for the well-known Maruti Suzuki WagonR, produced by the Indian carmaker, is on its way. Known for its tall-boy appearance and fuel efficiency, the new model is expected to have modifications to its exterior, interior, and features, similar to the brand's most current models.
Maruti Suzuki produces several popular models, and an update is planned for the WagonR. A new model appears to be the subject of recent spy photos, which show modifications to the rear like blacked-out tail lights and a revised bumper with new plastic components and vertically positioned reflectors.
Even though the front wasn't shown in the photos, the front design will probably also be different in this model. The redesigned WagonR may have new interiors, a new alloy wheel design and more features, in line with the brand's recent offerings.
Starting at Rs 5.54 lakh, the base model of the current WagonR costs Rs 7.30 lakh. Operating on Maruti's K-series engine, it has a 1.2-litre and 1.0-litre petrol engine, along with CNG-powered versions also available. Fuel efficiency claims for these engines are 25 km/l for petrol and 34 km/kg for compressed natural gas.
