Maruti Suzuki Jimny Gets a Price Hike in June 2026
  • Maruti Suzuki has revised the Jimny's price by Rs. 7,500 across all variants as part of its June 2026 price hike.
  • The updated price range now runs from Rs. 12.39 lakh to Rs. 14.52 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny has just become a little dearer. As part of a broader round of price revisions that Maruti Suzuki announced for June 2026, the Jimny has received a uniform hike of Rs. 7,500 across its entire variant range.

The company had already rolled out similar revisions for other models in its portfolio, and the Jimny is the latest to be updated under the same exercise.

Revision Applies Across All Variants

What stands out about this particular price adjustment is its consistency. The Rs. 7,500 increase applies regardless of which variant a buyer chooses, whether that is the entry-level Zeta or the range-topping Alpha.

It makes no difference whether the car is paired with a manual or automatic transmission, nor does the choice of mono-tone or dual-tone paint affect the quantum of the hike. Every configuration in the Jimny lineup has been revised by the same amount.

Updated Price Range for the Jimny

Following the revision, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny is now priced between Rs. 12.39 lakh for the base Zeta petrol manual variant and Rs. 14.52 lakh for the top-spec Alpha petrol automatic in a dual-tone finish. All prices are ex-showroom.

Jimny Variant-wise Price (Ex-Showroom)

The current prices of the variants stands at:

VariantTransmissionPrice (Ex-Showroom)
ZetaMTRs. 12.39 lakh
ZetaATRs. 13.45 lakh
AlphaMTRs. 13.31 lakh
AlphaMT (Dual-tone)Rs. 13.46 lakh
AlphaATRs. 14.37 lakh
AlphaAT (Dual-tone)Rs. 14.52 lakh

Broader Industry Trend

Maruti Suzuki is not alone in revising its prices during this period. Several other manufacturers have announced similar upward revisions in the June to July window, making this a broader industry correction rather than a brand-specific move.

For prospective Jimny buyers, this update underscores the importance of acting sooner rather than later, as further revisions across the segment cannot be ruled out.

The Jimny competes in the compact 4WD SUV space against the Mahindra Thar and continues to occupy a distinct position in Maruti's lineup as the brand's only true off-road-focused offering in the Indian market.
