If the OG kidnapping van of India, the Omni has a deserving successor then it is the Maruti Suzuki Eeco. The Eeco was launched way back in 2019 to replace the Omni and the Versa all at once. Initially, the Eeco was available in three prominent variants - a 5-seater standard, a 5-seater AC, and a 7-seater standard.
Not much has changed through the years since a facelifted variant of the Eeco was launched in 2022. However, the latest Eeco features specifications included a CNG option in the 5-seater variant. The Eeco specifications definitely pack the utilitarian design elements of the Omni and the spacious interiors of the Versa.
