Maruti Suzuki has expanded the Dzire lineup by introducing CNG variants right from the start. The Dzire CNG will be offered in two trims: VXi MT and ZXi MT. The VXi is a mid-level option, while the ZXi offers more premium features, sitting just below the top variant in the lineup.
Both variants are powered by Maruti’s 1.2 Z-Series engine producing 68 bhp and 101.8 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Maruti claims an impressive mileage of 33.73 km/kg for the Dzire CNG, compared to 32.85 km/kg for its hatchback sibling, the Swift CNG.
The VXi trim includes essential exterior styling and additional features over the base model. The ZXi variant goes a step further, offering:
15-inch alloy wheels
Reverse parking camera
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless phone mirroring
Push-button start
Automatic headlamps
Rear AC vent
Suzuki Connect connected car system
The Maruti Dzire CNG faces competition from other CNG-equipped models, including:
Hyundai Exter CNG
Tata Tigor CNG

With its strong mileage and feature-rich offerings, the Dzire CNG is set to be a compelling choice for budget-conscious buyers seeking fuel efficiency and practicality.
