Maruti Arena Cars Get 6 Airbags as Standard: Safety Boost for Alto K10, WagonR, Celerio, and Eeco
In a historic step towards elevating the safety levels in its budget range, Maruti Suzuki Arena has declared the introduction of six airbags as a standard feature in four of its best-selling models — Alto K10, WagonR, Celerio, and Eeco. This addition aligns these models with the Swift, Dzire, and Brezza, which already have enhanced passenger protection.
This update is part of Maruti’s broader mission to “democratize safety” and adapt to India’s rapidly modernizing road infrastructure, including high-speed expressways and evolving driving patterns.
The introduction of 6 airbags (dual front, side, and curtain) across budget-friendly models is a bold step in that direction.
