As we stand on the threshold of the new financial year next month, Maruti has declared that it will hike the prices of its automobile sector with effect from April 2025. This price increase shall be applicable to all Arena and Nexa models, 17 in total.

According to Maruti, the price hike may be up to 4 percent and may vary across models.

What Triggers the Hike

Maruti said that due to rising input costs and operational expenses, it has been compelled to pass on a part of these increases to customers by means of price increases.

Plans Ahead for Maruti

Maruti has plans to launch 4 new EVs in the Indian market by 2030. The first of these 4 models, the Maruti e Vitara (which was recently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025), will be followed by the other 3 over the coming years.
