Mahindra XUV.e8 will have three screens: Interior Patent Revealed

The outside and interior features of Mahindra's future XUV.e8 electric SUV are disclosed in several design patent applications that the company has filed. Most of these components have already been spotted on test mules but now the patent interior has been revealed so check out the details thoroughly.

Overview of the Mahindra XUV e8

Mahindra is getting ready to introduce the XUV e8, the electric variant of the XUV700. New information regarding this electric SUV, including a three-screen arrangement and a two-spoke steering wheel, has been revealed by recent interior design patents. The XUV e8 is anticipated to make its public debut in December 2024.

Interior Mahindra XUV e8 Features

The XUV e8's dashboard will have three separate screens, each contained within a single housing. These screens will consist of a central infotainment screen, a second passenger screen, and a digital driver's display. The Adrenox software from Mahindra will be used on all three screens. In addition, a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom will be included with the XUV e8.

External Style and Measurements

The first Mahindra SUV to be constructed on the Born-Electric (BE) INGLO platform will be the XUV e8. While it will have some unique features, like as an integrated full-width LED light bar inside the bumper, it will share exterior design cues with the XUV700. The electric SUV will have triangular headlamp housings with a vertically stacked LED design, as well as the sealed-off grille common to electric cars. The XUV e8 will have somewhat larger dimensions than the XUV700, with a wheelbase of 2,762 mm and measurements of 4,740 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,760 mm in height.

Engine and Rivalry

An 80 kWh battery pack is anticipated to power the XUV e8, which could include a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with power outputs ranging from 230 to over 350 horsepower. The XUV e8 has a range of around 450–500 kilometers. When the XUV e8 goes on sale, it will go up against other electric SUVs that cost roughly Rs 30-35 lakh, such as the Tata Harrier EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and Maruti Suzuki eVX.
