Kia Syros crosses a landmark in 2 months since its launching

The Kia Syros was introduced on February 1, 2025, as the Korean automaker's slightly premium sub-4m SUV product in India along with the Kia Sonet.

Now, the automaker has announced that it has sold 15,986 units of Syros since its release, which amounts to 20 percent of Kia's overall sales in March 2025.

The Kia Syros has a boxy look which is inspired by the more upmarket Kia EV9. It features vertically stacked LED headlights, L-shaped LED DRLs, a blanked-off grille and air intakes on the bumper.

The interior appears quite contemporary and low-key with a 2-spoke chunky steering wheel and a triple screen design on the dashboard, supplemented by a silver and grey dual-tone scheme with orange highlights for contrast. The seats receive a leatherette finish with colours in sync with the overall cabin scheme.

Features-wise, it has dual 12.3-inch displays (one for the instrumentation and one for the infotainment) and a 5-inch screen for AC controls. It also has ventilated front and rear seats, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and an 8-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

On the safety side, the Syros receives 6 airbags (standard), a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold function. It also features a Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite with features such as lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
