The Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition has been recently launched, with prices starting from ₹10.15 lakh to ₹13.38 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This special edition introduces rugged exterior elements and a fresh cabin theme to the sub-4m SUV. Now available at dealerships, the Venue Adventure Edition is designed to appeal to those seeking a blend of style and adventure.
The model currently on display features a striking Abyss Black finish, with additional color options including Ranger Khaki, Atlas White, and Titan Grey.
From an exterior perspective, the Venue Adventure Edition showcases LED projector headlights and LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The blacked-out grille adds to its rugged appeal, complemented by an adventure badge on the front fender and 15-inch steel wheels with black covers. The rear of the vehicle features a black bumper and LED tail lights; however, it does not include a rear wiper or washer.
Inside, the Venue Adventure Edition adopts a black interior theme highlighted by light green inserts around the touchscreen and AC vents. The cabin features fabric seat upholstery, with no leatherette material used on the steering wheel or gear lever.
Key interior features include an 8-inch touchscreen, manual air conditioning, and a day/night interior rearview mirror (IRVM). However, it lacks certain amenities found in higher variants, such as a wireless phone charger and dual-camera dashcam, indicating that the showcased model is the Venue S(O) Plus Adventure variant. This variant comes equipped with a height-adjustable driver’s seat and adjustable headrests for all seats.
Other notable features include a digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility through the 8-inch touchscreen, and a 6-speaker sound system. It also offers a single-pane sunroof, manual air conditioning with rear vents, and a 12V power socket along with type-C chargers for front and rear passengers.
In terms of powertrain options, the Venue S(O) Plus Adventure is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 83 PS and 114 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Other variants of the Venue offer a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 120 PS and 170 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 116 PS and 250 Nm. The turbo-petrol engine can be equipped with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission), while the diesel variant is limited to the manual option.
The Venue S(O) Plus Adventure is priced at ₹10.15 lakh, reflecting a ₹15,000 premium over the standard S(O) Plus variant. The prices for other Venue variants range from ₹7.94 lakh to ₹13.44 lakh.
In the competitive landscape, Hyundai’s sub-4m SUV competes with models like the Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV300, while also challenging sub-4m crossovers such as the Toyota Urban Cruiser and Maruti Fronx. The Venue Adventure Edition's rugged features and distinctive styling aim to attract a diverse customer base looking for a versatile and adventurous compact SUV.
