Hyundai Bayon Launched at ₹10 Lakh; CNG Version Coming in 2027

The SUV also gets Bluelink connected-car technology and a generative AI voice assistant.

Depending on the variant, cabin features include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a powered driver’s seat, a Bose sound system, ambient lighting and reclining rear seats with two-step adjustment. Rear AC vents are also provided for passenger comfort.

Factory-Fitted CNG Version Expected in January 2027

Hyundai is expected to introduce a factory-fitted CNG version of the Bayon in January 2027, expanding the range for buyers looking for an alternative to petrol. The CNG model is expected to use the 1.5-litre engine with a six-speed manual gearbox, although its final specifications and variant availability have not been confirmed.

Details such as the CNG tank capacity, fuel efficiency and boot-space impact are yet to be officially announced. The CNG version’s price is also unconfirmed, so any expected premium over the equivalent petrol variants should be treated as an estimate until Hyundai releases official details.
