Hyundai Aura S AMT launched at Rs 8.08 Lakh, with more features.

As the second version of the most popular compact sedan, Hyundai India now introduces the new 2025 Hyundai Aura S AMT as an addition to the existing lineup of the model, with a more affordable price and, automatic variant.

The new S AMT is priced at 8.08 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it affordable and convenient than the existing AMT variants in the Aura range and it does not compromise on major features.

Cheaper AMT to Mankind

The S AMT option was headed by Hyundai after the growing demand for low priced automatic cars in urban India.

The Aura S AMT is placed below the upper SX variants, and this is the most affordable of the AMT versions in the Aura. This action will assist Hyundai in selling to customers who are interested in the adventures of an automatic transmission, but prefer not to pay the price of a premium auto brand.

AMT with Proven Petrol Powertrain

The Aura S AMT gets the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed AMT, which forms the base of the smoother change in gears and usability of the engine in city drive and daily operation.

Safety & Features Get a Boost

The S AMT is able to stand out amongst the other entry-level trims due to the surplus of features.

This version of Hyundai comes with 6 airbags, ESC, Hill Start Assist, TPMS, and electric folding mirrors (ORVMs) with built-in turn indicators.

All this makes the Aura S AMT an attractive safety allure to safety-conscious customers.

This must not be confused with the Corporate Version

Recently, this year, Hyundai introduced the Hyundai Aura in a new avatar under the name Hyundai Aura Corporate, with petrol and CNG engine options.

The positioning of Aura S AMT is different--with petrol and convenience of AMT being the sole focus, the new trim would be placed underneath the SX variant, contributing to the company's strategy to offer customers more choices at the most relevant prices.

Since the introduction of the S AMT, Hyundai is further complementing its value-added sedan line-up in India.
