Hyundai Alcazar Gets New Diesel Corporate Variant, DCT Option for Petrol

In an effort to keep its 3-row SUV offering fresh, feature-packed and competitive, Hyundai Motor India has launched another round of updates to the Hyundai Alcazar lineup.

Hyundai added two new variants: the Corporate Diesel and Prestige Petrol DCT, to appeal to the latest concerns from Indian consumers, tailored comfort and tech at affordable prices.

New Diesel Corporate Variant: New Features, Same Efficiency

The new Corporate diesel variant of the Alcazar is available with both new 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. The most significant add-ons to the Corporate variant of Diesel Alcazar include a new voice-enabled Smart Panoramic Sunroof, which adds to the look and luxury.

Other features included in this model variant are:

  • 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment with navigation

  • Wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (via adapter)

  • Hyundai BlueLink connected car technology

  • Wireless phone charger

  • Ambient lighting

  • Quad-beam LED headlamps

  • R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels

In terms of safety features, it comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill Start Assist Control (HSAC), reinforcing Hyundai's commitment to protecting its occupants.

Prestige Petrol DCT: Convenience at a More Affordable Price Point

To extend the appeal of the petrol-powered Alcazar, Hyundai has now added a 7 Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) to the Prestige variant. This new option gives buyers the advantages of an automatic in efficiency, at a cheaper entry price, making it a strong consideration for city explorers and family adventures.

Pricing and Positioning

The pricing for the updated variants (ex-showroom) are:

  • Corporate 7-Seater Diesel MT - ₹17.86 lakh

  • Corporate 7-Seater Diesel AT - ₹19.28 lakh

  • Prestige 7-Seater Petrol DCT - ₹18.63 lakh
