This month, Toyota is discounting two of its big cars in India by up to ₹1 lakh.
The deal, which includes both the SUV Toyota Fortuner and the pickup truck Toyota Hilux, increases value for purchasers and coincides with more general tax and market changes.
Toyota is offering a discount of up to ₹1 lakh on two of its more expensive cars in India this month: the Fortuner and the Hilux.
Buyers can receive a discount or benefit of up to ₹1 lakh for the Fortuner, which has variants that range from around ₹33.65 lakh to ~₹48.85 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
A comparable incentive of up to ₹1 lakh is being marketed for the Hilux pickup truck, which costs between ₹28.02 lakh and ₹35.37 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota's parent company in India indicated earlier in September 2025 that it will pass on the benefits of adjustments in the GST rate to its consumers. For instance, the price of the Fortuner dropped by up to ₹3.49 lakh, while the price of the Hilux dropped by up to ₹2.52 lakh.
In addition to the structural price reduction that buyers are currently receiving, this provides a benefit of up to ₹1 lakh.
Automakers frequently increase demand in the latter part of the year in preparation for new model year changes or holiday shopping seasons. Offering "cash/benefits" up to a round amount (₹1 lakh) encourages people to buy expensive cars like these.
Find out exactly what the "up to ₹1 lakh" advantage entails from your local Toyota authorized dealer. Is it a cash discount, exchange incentive, corporate buy-in, or a combination? The maximum benefit may only be applicable in specific circumstances, as is customary.
Check the model you're thinking about because the Fortuner and Hilux have a broad range of trim levels and prices; thus, the benefits could differ depending on the variant. (Hilux: ~₹28.02–₹35.37 lakh; Fortuner: ~₹33.65–₹48.85 lakh)
Think about delivery schedules and availability: end-of-year demand may impact incentives and inventories, and high-end cars may have waiting periods.
Additionally, find out the precise duration of the promotion and whether these are in addition to other ongoing incentives (such as exchange bonuses or loyalty discounts).
