Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition Launched at ₹8.75 Lakh: Features & Details
The new Basalt X Comfort Edition is based on the entry-level You variant and gets several new comfort, technology and convenience features.
Bookings are now open, while the mechanical package remains unchanged with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and an optional company-approved CNG kit.
Citroen has expanded the Basalt X lineup in India with the launch of the new Comfort Edition. Priced at ₹8.75 lakh (ex-showroom), the new version is aimed at buyers who want more features without moving to a higher variant.
The Basalt X Comfort Edition is based on the entry-level You variant and receives a new Comfort AXS pack with several useful upgrades.
Bookings for the new edition have also opened, giving customers the option to choose a better-equipped version of the coupe-SUV at a more accessible price point.
The biggest change comes in the form of additional equipment. The Basalt X Comfort Edition gets several convenience and technology upgrades that were not available on the standard entry-level version.
Key features added with the Comfort AXS pack include:
Infotainment & Audio: A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless phone mirroring, paired with a premium JBL sound system.
Interior Elegance: Plush beige leatherette upholstery combined with customisable ambient lighting for an elevated cabin ambience.
Daily Convenience: Push-button engine start/stop with keyless entry, automatic climate control, power-adjustable side mirrors, and one-touch operation for all four power windows.
Safety & Tech: Factory-fitted front and rear dash cameras with ADAS functionality for added convenience and driver assistance.
