Audi Q3 Unveiling: A New Look and Upgraded Features

Audi's well-liked compact SUV, the Q3, will see a big update with a new generation launch. The global unveiling was on June 16, 2025, and introduced the third-generation Q3. It brings a fresh design style, upgraded tech for the digital cockpit, and a range of better-performing engines. This launch represents a notable step ahead for the German carmaker in the world of compact premium crossovers.

Third-Gen Q3: Modern Looks and Sharper Lines

Audi's newer designs showcased in recent models like the A6 and Q5 set the tone for the updated look of the new Q3. The compact SUV now aims to look sportier and more refined. Its sharper grille, redesigned headlamps, and stronger stance contribute to this updated style. The changes are not just about appearance. They aim to boost aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, adding to the Q3's bold presence on the road.

Engine and Driving

The Q3 in India used a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine, which produced 188bhp and 320Nm of torque. It paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and Audi’s Quattro AWD system allowing the SUV to go from 0 to 100kmph in just 7.3 seconds.

Audi has not yet announced engine options for the latest Q3. However, it is likely to offer mild-hybrid or plug-in hybrid variants worldwide to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions.

Improved Interiors and Digital Features

In the cabin, Audi aims to push digital features and connectivity forward. The new Q3 might include bigger touchscreens, an easier-to-use interface, wire-free smartphone syncing, and improved driver-assist technology.

Depending on the trim, features like Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, adaptive cruise, lane assist, and all-around cameras could either come standard or be available as options.

India Launch Plans

The all-new Audi Q3 makes its global debut today, but its launch in India will happen in early 2026. This timing matches Audi's plan to grow its premium SUV lineup in the country.

After the facelifted Q3 Sportback gained positive feedback, the new version of the Q3 aims to boost Audi’s standing in the compact luxury SUV market.
