Honda's first fully-hybrid SUV for India can be reserved online or at a dealership with a straightforward single-variant booking process.
Deliveries are expected to commence from July 2026, with waiting periods varying by colour choice and dealership.
Honda has officially launched the ZR-V in India, marking a significant moment for the brand as it introduces its first fully-hybrid SUV to the market.
Positioned above the Elevate and expected to be priced upwards of Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom), the ZR-V blends sporty styling with a feature-rich cabin and a strong-hybrid powertrain. If you have been eyeing one, the booking process is now live and rather straightforward.
For those who prefer to skip the showroom visit, Honda's official India website offers a clean and easy booking process. You begin by selecting the ZR-V as the model, then pick your preferred exterior colour, followed by entering your state, city, or pincode. You can also choose any accessories you want at this stage.
Since the ZR-V is offered in a single variant with one powertrain option, there is no need to deliberate over variant choices, which makes the entire process far less complicated than it might be with other cars in Honda's lineup.
Once these steps are completed, the website presents a list of nearby dealerships, from which you choose your preferred one. You then fill in your personal details, including your mobile number and email ID, and pay the booking amount online to confirm your reservation.
Buyers who would rather do things the traditional way can visit their nearest Honda dealership and book in person. A salesperson will walk you through the SUV, explain its features and specifications in detail, and can also arrange a test drive. It is worth taking a test drive before you commit, particularly given the premium price point. You will need to share your personal details for registration purposes, finalise your preferred colour, and pay the booking amount to lock in your ZR-V.
Deliveries of the Honda ZR-V are expected to begin in July 2026. That said, the actual waiting period for any individual buyer will depend on the colour option chosen as well as the dealership selected. Those in larger cities with high footfall dealerships may experience slightly longer waits.
The ZR-V is powered by a 2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired with a strong-hybrid setup, producing a combined output of 184 PS and 315 Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the wheels through an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission (e-CVT).
Inside, the cabin is generously equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a fully digital driver's display, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Safety provisions include Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, and eight airbags. The ZR-V will go up against the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, and Jeep Meridian in the Indian market.
