Xiaomi Automobile was reportedly developing a new platform for three SUV models that would be propelled by supercharged hybrid engines, according to a report from China Business Network. These cars were designed to be used by families.
According to people with knowledge of the situation, the three new models—which drew inspiration from the Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9—would be built on the same chassis but differentiated by variations in wheelbase and seating capacity.
