Despite retaining all of the EV's unique features, these recent sightings reveal a car that takes styling cues from the recently updated gasoline Punch.
According to the spy photos, the front end has a new bumper and updated headlight housings, giving it a more sophisticated and cleaner look than the current model. The rear receives a connected LED tail-lamp design akin to the ICE-powered Punch facelift, but the side profile mainly resembles the outgoing Punch EV. It has a sportier, more unified rear end thanks to these integrated lighting and minor bumper adjustments.
Tata seems ready to launch new paint options, including striking hues like vivid yellow and a deep bronze/copper tone, in addition to design enhancements.
The purpose of these colours is to make the Punch EV makeover stand out more stylishly in the small EV market.
Tata has not yet made the entire inside public, but it is anticipated that the revamp would result in a more upscale cabin experience. With bigger screens and a modernized user interface, the upgraded model might expand on this.
The 2026 Punch EV makeover is expected to include the same battery and motor options as its predecessor. This means that the well-known 25 kWh pack and the bigger 35 kWh pack will likely remain available, providing competitive real-world range figures and performance that is typical of the Punch EV family.
