Toyota Set to Launch 3 Exciting Models in January 2025: Camry, eVX-Based EV, and Land Cruiser Prado

Toyota is kicking off 2025 with a bang by introducing three highly anticipated vehicles to the Indian market. With each catering to a unique segment, the upcoming launches promise to strengthen Toyota's diverse portfolio and capture the attention of car enthusiasts across the country.

Let’s dive into what each of these models brings to the table.

Toyota Camry XV80

The Toyota Camry, a name synonymous with luxury and reliability, is ready to make a grand comeback in its new-generation avatar, the XV80. This premium sedan, expected to debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, promises a refreshed design inspired by Toyota's luxury arm, Lexus. The new model will feature a longer body while retaining the same wheelbase, ensuring a spacious and comfortable interior.

Inside, the Camry is set to offer an ultra-premium experience with state-of-the-art features and refined aesthetics. While the pricing details remain under wraps, experts predict an on-road price starting at ₹55 lakh in Mumbai.

With its blend of elegance and advanced technology, the Camry XV80 aims to solidify its place in the luxury sedan segment.

As the electric revolution gathers pace, Toyota is gearing up to make its mark with its version of the Maruti Suzuki eVX. Currently codenamed the Urban SUV concept, Toyota's first electric SUV for India is expected to blend futuristic design with robust performance. Its exterior styling will mirror Toyota’s larger SUV lineup, exuding a bold and modern aesthetic.

The minimalist interiors will echo the eVX, focusing on functionality and comfort. Under the hood, this EV is expected to house a 60 kWh battery pack, delivering an impressive range of approximately 500 km. Both AWD and FWD options will be available, making it versatile for city and off-road driving. Estimated to be priced between ₹20 lakh and ₹25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), this electric SUV could be a game-changer in the burgeoning EV segment.

Land Cruiser Prado

Completing the trio is the iconic Land Cruiser Prado, set to showcase at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Designed for the ultimate off-road experience, the new Prado will feature a muscular bonnet, sleek LED headlamps, and chunky bumpers for an aggressive stance.

Inside, the SUV will boast luxurious interiors packed with modern technology. Powering the Prado is a 2.8-litre diesel engine, paired with the optional 48V hybrid tech debuting in the upcoming Fortuner Hybrid. Positioned between the Fortuner and the flagship Land Cruiser, the Prado is expected to carry an on-road price exceeding ₹1 crore in Mumbai.

With these launches, Toyota is poised to set new benchmarks in luxury, sustainability, and off-road capability, ensuring a spectacular start to 2025 for the Indian automotive market.
