Reports name November 25, 2026 as the India launch day for the Toyota Innova Hycross facelift.
Expect the facelift to cost Rs 20 lakh to Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom), against Rs 18.70 lakh to Rs 32.95 lakh for today's Hycross in Delhi.
A facelift is a mid-life update, so the Innova Hycross facelift is today's MPV with changes, not a new generation. Toyota has already updated the model in Indonesia, where it is sold as the Kijang Innova Zenix, and reports use that version as their guide to India.
Spy shots point to a new grille, sleeker headlamps, redesigned bumpers and updated tail-lamps. Inside, the facelift is expected to carry over the larger touchscreen and digital driver's display of the Indonesian model. Reports say higher variants in Indonesia get a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
Reports expect the facelift to keep the 173hp 2.0-litre petrol engine with a CVT, short for continuously variable transmission, which has no fixed gears. The 184hp 2.0-litre strong hybrid is expected to keep its e-CVT, the form of that gearbox used with a hybrid system. That hybrid will likely run on E30 or higher blends, meaning petrol with 30 per cent ethanol or more.
Toyota's website shows the G-FLT 7S at Rs 18.70 lakh and the Hybrid ZX(O) at Rs 31.84 lakh, with a ZX(O) LE above it at Rs 32.95 lakh, so that is the current top price. The website also takes an online booking amount of Rs 50,000 for the current Hycross only.
If the expected figures hold, the facelift would start Rs 1.30 lakh higher and top out Rs 2.05 lakh higher.
| Model | Lowest (Rs lakh) | Highest (Rs lakh) | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current Hycross | 18.70 | 32.95 | Toyota, Delhi, November 4, 2026 |
| Facelift (expected) | 20.00 | 35.00 | Reports, November 3, 2026 |
| Gap if the expected figures hold | +1.30 | +2.05 | Worked out from the rows above |
Note: Toyota's figures are ex-showroom. They may differ on the top end, from Rs 33 lakh to Rs 35 lakh.
Launch notice: Toyota's website and press releases carry no word on the facelift, so the date rests on reports.
Price and bookings: Toyota has not announced the price, variants, bookings or delivery timing.
Specifications and the current model: Toyota has not announced India's mileage, equipment or engines, or whether today's Hycross will be discontinued.
Buying now is simple: today's Hycross is the model Toyota sells and takes bookings for. Waiting is easy to justify too, because the reported November 25 launch is three weeks away and is expected to bring a refreshed look and a bigger touchscreen. Either way, buyers are set to get a newer Hycross within weeks.
