Wraparound LED tail lamps
Inside, the Basalt X gets a black-and-tan interior theme, replacing the lighter shades of the regular model. A rear center armrest with cup holders has been added for improved passenger comfort. Citroen might also have ambient lighting, which will make the cabin feel more stylish at night.
The new Basalt X will continue to offer the same list of features as the standard Basalt, including:
10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
7-inch digital driver’s display
Auto AC with rear vents
A 6-speaker sound system
Wireless phone charging
Adjustable under-thigh support for rear seats
On the safety side, it comes with:
Six airbags

Hill-hold assist
ISOFIX child seat mounts
A 360-degree camera could also be available
The Basalt X will have the same petrol engine options as before:
1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (82 PS, 115 Nm) with 5-speed manual
