Tata Sierra EV Colours And Variant Lineup
  • Prices for the electric SUV begin at Rs 18.79 lakh
  • Buyers get a choice of 63kWh and 75kWh battery packs

Tata Motors has pulled the wraps off the 2026 Sierra EV in India, and along with the launch, the carmaker has laid out exactly what colours and variants shoppers can pick from.

The electric version of this revived nameplate arrives with an introductory price tag of Rs 17.89 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), undercutting the standard on-road figure and giving early buyers a reason to book quickly. Here is a closer look at how the range is structured.

Colour Palette Available On The Sierra EV

The Sierra EV can be had in seven shades in total, though not every variant gets access to the full set. The complete palette, reserved for the range topping Empowered A AWD trim, includes Rishikesh Rapids, Nainital Nocturne, Coorg Clouds, Pure Grey, Pristine White, Andaman Adventure and Bengal Rouge. These names lean heavily on Indian geography, a theme Tata has used across its recent launches to give its colour options a bit more character than the usual metallic and pearl white fare.

Buyers opting for the entry level Pure variant will find the choice considerably narrower, with just three colours on offer, namely Coorg Clouds, Pure Grey and Pristine White. It is a fairly standard approach for carmakers to hold back the flashier shades for higher trims, and Tata has followed that playbook here as well.

Variant Lineup And What Each Trim Offers

The Sierra EV comes in six variants altogether. In ascending order these are Pure, Pure S, Adventure, Empowered, Empowered A and Empowered A AWD. This gives buyers a fairly wide spread to choose from, whether they want a no-frills electric SUV or a fully loaded, all-wheel-drive flagship model.

Battery Packs And Range On Offer

Two battery pack options are available across the lineup, a 63kWh unit and a larger 75kWh pack. Tata claims a maximum range of up to 665km on a single charge with the bigger battery.

Other headline features include vehicle to vehicle charging, vehicle to load functionality and 120kW DC fast charging support.

Tata has also backed the battery with a lifetime warranty, a move the brand has positioned as a way to ease long term ownership concerns for electric vehicle buyers in India.
