Tata Curvv EV SeriesX Range Arrives in India with Three Variants, Priced from Rs. 16.99 Lakh
  • Tata Motors has introduced the SeriesX range to the Curvv EV lineup with three new variants priced between Rs. 16.99 lakh and Rs. 19.49 lakh.

  • All three variants are powered by a 55kWh battery pack offering an ARAI-certified range of 502km on a single charge.

Tata Motors has officially introduced the SeriesX range within its Curvv EV lineup, with prices beginning at Rs. 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new addition brings two fresh variants and a new paint shade into the picture, widening the buyer's choice in India's increasingly busy mid-size electric SUV segment.

Three Variants Spread Across a Thoughtful Price Range

The SeriesX family is offered in three trims. The Accomplished X 55 opens the range at Rs. 16.99 lakh, the Empowered X 55 sits at Rs. 19.19 lakh, and the Empowered X 55 Dark tops the lineup at Rs. 19.49 lakh.

All three draw power from the same 55kWh battery pack, paired with a single electric motor that produces 165bhp and 215Nm of torque. The ARAI-certified range stands at 502km on a full charge, while Tata claims a real-world C75 range of 400km, a figure buyers are likely to find far more useful for daily trip planning.

Accomplished X 55 Offers Considerable Kit for Its Price

The Accomplished X 55 may sit at the base of the SeriesX hierarchy, but its equipment list tells a different story.

This variant gets a panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch screens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 360-degree camera with a blind-spot view monitor, ventilated seats, Benecke Kaliko leatherette upholstery, and rear sunshades. For a car at this price point, that is a genuinely well-rounded package.

Empowered X 55 Raises the Technology Bar Considerably

Step up to the Empowered X 55 and the list of features grows considerably more impressive. This trim brings ventilated front seats, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, two-stage reclining rear seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the Arcade.ev app suite, a nine-speaker JBL audio system, Level 2 ADAS, 18-inch alloy wheels, V2V and V2L technologies, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, and dynamic smart lighting animations. It is a remarkably generous specification sheet for a car in this class.

Nitro Crimson Joins the Colour Palette

Alongside the new variants, Tata has introduced a Nitro Crimson paint finish to the Curvv EV's exterior options. With this addition, buyers can now select from five distinct colour choices.

A Purposeful Expansion of the Curvv EV Family

The SeriesX range represents a deliberate effort by Tata Motors to offer greater variety within the Curvv EV lineup without fundamentally altering its pricing architecture. The variants are sensibly differentiated, with each tier adding meaningful features rather than cosmetic padding.

For buyers seeking a capable, long-range electric SUV that punches well above its price in terms of equipment, the new SeriesX trims are well worth a serious look.
