Tata Aeris First Teaser Released Ahead of September 25 Launch
Tata Motors has officially revealed the Aeris name and released the first teaser of its upcoming compact sedan ahead of its September 25 debut.
The Aeris is expected to replace the Tigor and compete with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze.
The teaser shows the car emerging from a shell, with parts of the outer covering peeling away to reveal its body underneath.
Key design details shown in the teaser include:
Front Fascia: The car gets angular LED headlamp units with slim upper DRLs. The lower bumper features black horizontal elements and LED fog lamps positioned towards the outer edges.
Rear Quarter Profile: The teaser also shows part of the boot section, the fuel-filler area and a portion of the LED tail-lamp design.
Cabin & Interior: Tata has not revealed the interior details yet. More information about the dashboard, infotainment system and driver display is expected to be revealed closer to the launch.
The Tigor was not included in Tata Motors' recent “TATA.CARS” multimedia campaign, which featured models such as the Tiago, Altroz, Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Sierra, Harrier and Safari. The omission came ahead of the Aeris launch, with the new sedan expected to replace the Tigor in Tata's compact sedan range.
The Aeris will enter a segment that includes the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze. August 2026 sales figures report show how these models performed.
