Skoda Auto India is in a celebratory mood to take the Kushaq Monte Carlo Limited Edition to the market to mark its silver jubilee.
With only 500 built, this variant builds on the already fancy Monte Carlo trim by adding a plethora of exclusive cosmetic upgrades and features.
The basic 1.0-litre TSI will be offered at Rs. 16.39 lakh (ex-showroom) in the manual option, which is followed by a 1.5-litre TSI variant with the DSG option costing Rs. 19.09 lakh.
Monte Carlo Limited Edition twins come in two dashing colour schemes, Deep Black and Tornado Red.
In order to improve the visual impact, Skoda has accorded every colour a contrast accent treatment. The Deep Black model has Tornado Red accents, but the Tornado Red trim gets thick Deep Black accents.
Externally, the SUV has fog lights, trunk and lower door garnishes, a sporty fin spoiler and an exclusive 25th anniversary on the B-pillar that makes it highly recognisable.
In addition to the sweet deal, Skoda will also provide a free accessories package. Such a bundle includes luxury features like a 360-degree camera that gives you a better view, puddle lights that add a luxurious touch and underbody lighting that makes the car look fancy at night.
The two petrol powertrains are offered to buyers. The 1.0-litre TSI is 114bhp with 178Nm of torque making it ideal with manual or automatic gearbox.
To those who want extra performance, there is also the 1.5-litre TSI, an engine that produces 148bhp/250Nm of torque, and is linked to an ultra-fast DSG automatic.
This will be a rare sight on the Indian roads because the Kushaq Monte Carlo Limited Edition will be sold in only 500 units. Blending the bestseller Kushaq dynamics with that of a special edition, the launch will mark not only 25 years in India but also Skoda focus on stylish driver-special SUVs.
