Skoda Kushaq Facelift Sportline Arrives at Dealerships, All You Need to Know

Skoda Auto India officially launched the facelifted Kushaq on March 21, 2026, with prices starting at Rs. 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Shortly after, the Sportline variant began arriving at dealerships nationwide, giving prospective buyers their first proper look at what is arguably the most visually striking trim in the updated line-up.
The Kushaq facelift is offered across five variants, Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo, with the Sportline sitting in the middle of the range.
The Sportline makes a confident first impression, particularly when finished in the Carbon Steel shade. Up front, segmented LED daytime running lights sit on the grille, flanked by full LED headlamps.
At the rear, LED tail lights and illuminated Skoda lettering on the tailgate give it a premium finish that punches well above the car's price point. An integrated spoiler and rear wiper round off the practical touches at the back.
The blacked-out treatment is applied generously throughout ,the roof rails, shark-fin antenna, 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear bumper inserts, B-pillars, and even the Skoda badging on the fenders all wear dark accents. It is a cohesive design approach that lends the Kushaq a more purposeful, sporty character without crossing into garish territory.
Step inside and the Sportline does not disappoint. The two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and analogue instrument cluster with a colour multi-information display set the tone, while fabric seat upholstery keeps the interior practical for everyday use.
A 10-inch touchscreen handles infotainment duties, with wireless phone mirroring and USB Type-C ports taking care of connectivity.
Creature comforts include an electric sunroof, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a sliding front armrest, a height-adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, and a cooled glovebox.
Aluminium pedals add a sporty touch inside. On the safety front, six airbags, TPMS, a reverse parking camera with guidelines, and front and rear parking sensors are all standard on the Sportline.
The Sportline variant is available exclusively with Skoda's 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, which produces approximately 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque.
Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or an eight-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Skoda claims a fuel efficiency figure of up to 19.66 kmpl with the manual gearbox, while the automatic returns up to 19.09 kmpl, both are competitive numbers for the segment.
The 2026 Kushaq facelift competes directly with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Renault Duster, among others. In this context, the Sportline's blend of equipment, efficiency, and build quality gives Skoda a genuine case to make to buyers who want European sensibility without the premium price tag that typically comes with it.
