The 'Safer With Skoda Trackday' was put on by Skoda Auto India at the NATRAX facility in Indore to promote the safety features of their vehicles. The demonstration of emergency braking techniques and the 4x4 range's off-road prowess highlighted the company's dedication to safety.
Skoda Auto India's Brand Director, Petr Solc, emphasised the company's dedication to safety by stressing its vehicles' laser-welded, high-strength steel skeletal structure. Whether created for Indian or international markets, he said every Skoda vehicle is built to withstand and absorb collision impacts, earning it a complete 5-star safety rating for adults and children.
Solc emphasised that the basic bodily structure has a key role in safety beyond seatbelts and airbags. He reaffirmed Skoda's commitment to prioritising safety in their vehicles, viewing it as the foundation of their strategy and an expression of their values of Safety, Family, and Human Touch.
Both the Slavia and Kushaq models, according to a press release from the manufacturer, are loaded with safety equipment, including Top Tether anchor points, up to 6 airbags, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, tyre pressure monitoring, multi-collision braking, anti-lock brakes, traction control, and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
To reiterate its dedication to safety in the Indian market, Skoda Auto India will prioritise its vehicles' platform and skeleton. The business wants to keep holding the safety lead and is concentrating on advancing body structure engineering and active/passive safety technology. According to the press release, Skoda Auto India aims to advance safety features and technology.
