New Features of the Kia Seltos HTE (O) Variant Reach Indian Dealerships
  • With improved features and a variety of engine options, the new Kia Seltos HTE (O) model has begun to arrive at local dealerships around India.

  • It costs between ₹12.09 lakh and ₹14.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and sits above the base HTE variant.

A new trim in the Seltos portfolio, the Kia Seltos HTE (O) variation, has started to show up in local showrooms throughout India, offering consumers more options in the well-liked mid-size SUV market. This version, which is intended for people who desire more equipment but still want a value-focused Seltos, is positioned one step above the entry-level HTE model.

What Sets the HTE (O) Apart

The HTE (O) has a more extensive feature set than the base HTE model, which improves comfort and convenience. This model's exterior features include LED headlamps, LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, and a sleek LED light bar at the back that gives the SUV a more contemporary appearance. Additionally, it boasts glossy black roof rails for a subtle sporty touch and 16-inch steel wheels.

Entering the cabin exposes two 10.25-inch screens that accommodate the infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster. In addition to four Type-C charging connections, cruise control, dual-tone upholstery, and rear air conditioning vents, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have increased connectivity.

A 60:40 split rear seat with armrest, electrically adjustable outside mirrors, drive and traction modes, and paddle shifters are examples of practical features.

Transmission and Engine Options

A 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline, a 1.5-liter diesel, and a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine are the three engine options available for the HTE (O) model. A six-speed manual, an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), a six-speed torque converter automatic, and a six-speed iMT (clutch-less manual) are among the gearbox options available to buyers based on their engine and preferences.

Customers can customise the Seltos to fit their demands and driving style thanks to the variety of powertrain options.

Cost and Accessibility

Prices for the new HTE (O) variant start at about ₹12.09 lakh and go up to about ₹14.99 lakh (all figures ex-showroom). This makes it appealing to consumers who want more than the standard trim but aren't quite ready to upgrade to higher models with larger alloys and sunroofs.

The Seltos HTE (O) is anticipated to appeal to a broad spectrum of consumers who desire a decent balance of comfort, technology, and powertrain options without going too high up the price ladder when it arrives at dealerships.
