The MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition gets Shadow Gold paint, 18-inch black alloy wheels, exclusive badges and a new tan-and-black interior theme.
A roof-mounted flip-down screen for rear passengers is among the key additions, while the battery options and price remain unconfirmed.
MG Motor India has announced the upcoming Windsor EV Indulge Edition and leaked images have revealed details of its exterior and interior changes ahead of launch. The special edition marks two years of the Windsor EV in India and adds new styling elements and comfort features to the existing electric car.
The leaked images show the MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition in a new Shadow Gold exterior colour. It also gets 18-inch black alloy wheels and ‘Indulge’ badges on the rear quarter glass.
Other exterior elements appear unchanged from the standard Windsor EV. These include the LED lighting, body cladding, black roof and blacked-out outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs). The rear design also appears to remain the same, apart from the special edition branding.
The new colour and badges distinguish the Indulge Edition from the regular model without changing its overall design.
Inside, the Indulge Edition retains the Windsor EV's black-and-ivory cabin theme but gets Urban Tan and Black leatherette seat upholstery. The front seat headrests feature ‘Indulge’ embossing.
MG is also expected to offer neck cushions for front passengers and pillows for rear occupants. Another addition is the roof-mounted flip-down screen for rear passengers, which the manufacturer calls the Prive Screen.
These changes add new cabin features to the existing Windsor EV layout. Further details about the screen's functions and equipment availability have not been announced.
The MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition is expected to retain the standard model's powertrain and offer the same two battery pack options:
| Battery Capacity | Claimed Range | Motor Output | Drive Setup |
|---|---|---|---|
| 38 kWh | 332 km | 136 hp / 200 Nm | Front-Wheel Drive |
| 52.9 kWh | 449 km | 136 hp / 200 Nm | Front-Wheel Drive |
MG has not announced the Indulge Edition's price or launch date. The special edition is expected to cost more than the corresponding standard Windsor EV variants, but the final pricing will be confirmed by the company.
The leaked images reveal the main exterior and interior changes, while details about the available battery versions, pricing and equipment remain awaited.
