JSW MG Motor India has delivered 50 Hector Tomahawk EVs to customers in Surat in a single day. The handover is a local delivery milestone for the recently launched electric SUV. It is one of the largest delivery events for the model since launch.
The Hector Tomahawk EV is sold in five-seat and seven-seat configurations. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version is offered only as a seven-seater. According to reports, PHEV deliveries start in November.

For a limited number of bookings, MG is offering an introductory Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) price starting at ₹13.99 lakh. In this model, the battery is rented and charged separately at ₹4.90 per km.
The EV uses a 69.2 kWh battery with a 150 kW electric motor that makes 310 Nm. MG quotes a certified range of 517 km and support for DC fast charging at up to 90 kW.
The Hector Tomahawk PHEV pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and a 20.5 kWh battery. MG claims over 115 km of pure-electric range and more than 1,100 km of combined range with a full tank and full charge.
The PHEV starts at ₹25,69,800 for the Exclusive 7S and goes up to ₹27,79,800 for the Essence 7S. Introductory BaaS pricing starts at ₹21.79 lakh, plus ₹3.20 per km in battery rental, for a limited number of bookings.
Depending on the variant, the Tomahawk gets a 15.6-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch driver display, ventilated front seats, powered front-seat adjustment, a panoramic sunroof and a powered tailgate. Connected features include i-SMART 3.0 and a GenAI-powered voice assistant.
Six airbags are standard. The equipment list also includes a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS. The five-seat version offers a boot capacity of up to 610 litres. MG also offers a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner of both the EV and PHEV, subject to applicable terms.
Between September 2025 and August 2026, MG sold 76,958 cars. This compares with 70,344 units in the previous corresponding period, growth of 9.40%. June, July and August 2026 each crossed 7,500 units, with double-digit year-on-year growth in all three months.
Hector Tomahawk EV and PHEV could help MG build on this momentum by attracting buyers looking for larger electrified family SUVs.
