Mercedes-AMG GT 63, GT 63 pro India Launch Today

Mercedes-Benz has been away from the Indian market for three years and is now ready to launch yet another range of grandeur, the AMG GT. This time around, the company will be launching the AMG GT in its 63 and 63 Pro versions.

These performance cars are luxurious coupes that will come in low volumes and will land through the CBU ( Completely Built-Up) route.

What is new in the 2025 AMG GT 63?

The biggest modification that the new AMG GT 63 has is the upsizing with a seating capacity of 2+2 seats, which offers it more practical value compared to the pure two-seater design with its same classic coupe design.

This development captures the synergised combination of performance and day-to-day usability, hence it is more attractive to the driving enthusiasts who equally need comfort.

Another fact about the new GT 63 is the size, as the car is longer, broader, and taller. It is available with newer interiors possessing bigger screens on the infotainment system, a newer lighting package, along with better storage spaces, which makes its interior more superior and technological.

Power and Performance

Slip beneath the AMG GT 63 bonnet, and you will find a twin-turbocharged V8 engine of 4.0-litre, with 585bhp and 800Nm of torque.

Coupled with an AMG-spec 9-speed automatic gearbox and the 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system devised by Mercedes, the vehicle accelerates to 100kmph in 3.3 seconds and hits the theoretical limit device in 315kmph.

The AMG GT 63 Pro

To quench the urge of those who want even better performance, there is the GT 63 Pro, which takes the same engine and tunes it to yield 612bhp and 850Nm. It also features improved aerodynamics, ceramic brakes, and sportier paintwork. This car can reach a maximum speed of 317kmph, but it is projected that this model will be faster in its take-off period.

The talk is also on the possibility that Mercedes-Benz India could introduce an extra-special GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ Motorsport Collectors Edition, painted in the Mercedes-AMG F1 team colours, making this launch even more desirable.

The new AMG GT series has phenomenal power and uniqueness that is not equal to any other car in the high-performance automobile market in India.
